PRINCIPAL & TEACHER, Natasha Varis COMDANCE TH/D, AAC1

Natasha began dancing at the age of 8 with Jody Marshall Dance Company, in Perth, WA. She passed all COMDANCE Theatrical, Tapping and Classical examinations, and received many awards during a very successful competition career. Natasha danced professionally with Vogue Entertainment, in Perth, WA, while teaching at Jody Marshall Dance Company, John Curtin College Of The Arts, Balcatta Senior High School, Warwick Senior High School, Greenwood College and Hollywood Senior High School. In September 1997, Natasha passed her COMDANCE Full Theatrical Teaching Diploma at the age of 21, and later that year established Innovations Dance Academy. The following year, in February, Innovations Dance Academy opened for classes, and welcomed their first group of students. Natasha has led IDA to great success over the past 25 years, winning numerous awards at Bunbury, Mandurah and Perth competitions. Her examination students receiving regional WA's COMDANCE Examiner's Award, COMDANCE Best Dorothy Gladstone Award and COMDANCE Best Public Performer a number of times. In January 2021, Natasha trained with AcrobaticArts and became an AcrobaticArts Certified Teacher. Natasha has been teaching Jazz, Tapping, Classical, Lyrical & Acrobatics for a total of 34 years, and looks forward to continuing IDA's success.

TEACHER, Bella Varis 

Bella began dancing at the age of 2 at Innovations Dance Academy. She has passed COMDANCE Jazz, Tapping, Theatrical, Classical and Hip Hop examinations, and received many places and continues to complete her exams in training for her Teachers Certificate and Diploma. Bella has taught Jazz, Tapping, Classical, Lyrical, Acrobatics and Hip Hop at Innovations Dance Academy, over the past 6 years, and looks forward to teaching at IDA throughout 2024.

SECRETARY, Marge Milo

Has been secretary of Innovations Dance Academy since it opened in 1998. Marge will help you with any queries or extra information you may need, Class Fees, Uniforms, Shoes, Tights, Concert Savings Fund, Costumes, Wigs, Make-up and Fundraising when required.
